Ever heard the expression “A watched pot never boils”?
We sure proved that!
The hunky chef planned to make a pasta recipe, but once he got on stage, he realized the five quart pot was still stone cold.
I was just supposed to introduce him, but he quickly recruited me to stay on stage and help kill some time.
We had a lot of fun, and once the water finally bubbled, I even let him dip my hand into it!
He says it’s the best way to pull pieces of pasta to test for doneness.
Now THAT’S trust.
